A good understanding of the scope, requirements, terms, and limitations of a telecommunications licence is an essential factor for every telecoms service provider. Oftentimes, licence conditions and regulations are breached largely because of an inadequate comprehension and knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing such licence. The excuse of ignorance cannot serve as a defence or protection for a licensee since the regulations make no such accommodations.
