Dominic E. Obozuwa is an eclectic, driven, results-focused and client-centric lawyer with considerable experience and expertise in Dispute Resolution & Commercial Litigation, Debt Management & Recovery, Real Property Advisory & Conveyancing and General Corporate/Commercial law practice across a range of specialised areas including but not limited to Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Corporate Restructuring, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

In the course of his legal practice over the years, he has acted in a wide variety of Commercial, Project Finance, Infrastructure, PPPs and Corporate Restructuring, transactions valued in excess of hundreds of millions of [USD] Dollars. He has provided legal services to several clients including but not limited to Nahman Construction Company Limited, Sahelian Power SPV Limited, First Bank of Nigeria Plc. (FBN), Unity Bank Plc., FCMB Plc., Dumex Industries Ltd, Jaiz Bank Plc., Airtel Networks Limited, MTN Nigeria Communications Limited, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), and UACN Property Development Company Limited. Other representative former clients include Total E & P Limited, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), Jaiz Foundation, Paediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN), Filmo Realty Limited and Center for Integrated Health Programs (CIHP), etc.

His other areas of practice include Company Secretarial, Government Regulatory Compliance, Public Sector Liaison, Start-Up & Business Regulatory Advisory and Legislative Drafting. He collaborates with the Firm’s other departments to ensure that the Firm continually exceeds Clients’ expectations on a continuum.

Dominic was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007, and prior to joining the team at S.P.A Ajibade & Co., he practiced at Jackson, Etti & Edu (JEE), Wali-Uwais & Co. (WUC) and The RE’TH Advisory Practice (TReAP).

Dominic is a driven, analytical and astute Dispute Resolution & Corporate/Commercial specialist with multi-sector legal experience and knowledge. He is recognised for his drive at getting “Client-centric Results” and is well noted for his strategy and negotiation skills.
