Abiodun Ogunnubi is an Associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Department. She has garnered over 9 years professional experience as a litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution expert. Prior to joining the firm, she was a key member of the Dispute Resolution team of a reputable law firm in Lagos, Nigeria specialized in litigation and arbitration where she acquired experience advising clients on various aspects of Nigerian law. She has appeared before trial and appellate courts in commercial and general civil disputes covering a broad range of causes including contractual, banking, defamation, real estate disputes, etc. She has a special interest in general commercial transactions and corporate governance, international commercial law, dispute avoidance and resolution through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, etc.

She has advised individual and corporate clients in diverse industries, including, but not limited to representing a leading recording artist in an arbitral proceedings over a multi-million Naira entertainment dispute between the artist and his producer over breach of the Record Contract, a core member of the team that advised and represented the victims of gas pipeline explosion in Nigeria on applicable remedies, advised a confidential client on the applicability of legislative amendments to extant statutes on notarial services in Nigeria, a core member of a team led by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria that successfully that successfully recovered a multi-billion Naira loan facility on behalf of a consortium of commercial banks in Nigeria.
