Chief Simon Peter Ajibade is the founder of the Firm. He was admitted to the English Bar in 1960 at the Middle Temple Inns of Court, London after earning a second class division of the English Bar Examination and placing 22nd in the whole of the British Commonwealth. He was thereafter admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria and practiced as an advocate for several years, appearing with distinction in courts across the country.

He was the last Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of the defunct Western State of Nigeria (1975-1976) and a Member of the Judicial Service Commission in Ondo State, (1979-1983). He was also a former Assistant Secretary and Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ibadan Branch and a former Assistant General Secretary, Nigerian Bar Association, National Body.

He retired from active advocacy in 1987 and prior to his retirement in December 2014, concentrated his skills and energy on non – participatory supervision of the firm’s litigation department as well as full time engagement as a solicitor and consultant and in other advisory services in various areas of law including Insurance, Life & Personal Injury Claims, Land Law, Divorce Law, Probate & Administration of Estates, Conveyancing Matters, Banking Law, Arbitration, and Chieftaincy Disputes.
